Lumber Tycoon 2 new logic items (Sep 2026): all 17 parts, prices and what they do

The 17 advanced logic parts added to Link's Logic in September 2026: NAND, NOR, XNOR, seven and fourteen segment displays, adders, latches, buffers and selectors, with prices and how they fit together.

Names and prices come from the Fandom wiki's Link's Logic page (edited 24 Sep 2026), which still carries an "outdated" banner. We have not bought or wired the parts ourselves yet.

Quick answer

Link's Logic in the Tropics now sells 17 new advanced logic parts, the first new logic items since the Clock Switch in April 2020. They cost $18,459 for the full set and cover three gates, segment displays, converters, an adder, a latch, buffers and selectors.

What was added

On the evening of 16 Sep 2026 (US Eastern time), just before The Hunt: Roblox 20 started, a batch of "advanced" logic parts appeared at Link's Logic, followed by more a few hours later. The wiki's news box counts 17 in total. It is the first new logic hardware since the Clock Switch of 20 April 2020.

Link's Logic is a shop in the Tropics run by Lincoln. To get there you pay Hoover $400 for the ferry. The wiki says it is open from 8 AM to 8 PM game time, but marks that as needing verification.

All 17 parts

PartPriceWhat it does
NAND Gate$260Output is on unless both inputs are on.
NOR Gate$260Output is on only when both inputs are off.
XNOR Gate$260Output is on when both inputs are the same.
Seven Segment Display$3,500Seven inputs light seven bars: numbers and some letters.
7 Segment Converter$1,200Turns a BCD number into the signals a seven segment display needs.
Fourteen Segment Display$3,500Fourteen inputs, for numbers, letters and symbols.
14 Segment Converter$1,200Drives a fourteen segment display so you do not wire each bar.
Binary to BCD Converter$900Turns a binary number into BCD for the displays.
Full Adder$800Adds two four-bit binary numbers with a carry bit.
Add 3$200Adds 3 if the input is above 4, a building block for binary-to-BCD circuits (the double dabble method).
SR Latch$260One bit of memory with a set input and a reset input.
Buffer 1$425Stores 1 bit.
Buffer 2$525Stores 2 bits.
Buffer 4$725Stores 4 bits (one nibble).
Selector 4x$604Steps through 4 outputs each time you press its button.
Selector 8x$1,280The same with 8 outputs.
Selector 16x$2,560The same with 16 outputs.

The full set costs $18,459. The one-line summaries are our reading of the in-game item descriptions, which the wiki quotes; the SR Latch's in-game text is a generic gate description, so its entry is the standard behaviour of that part.

How the gates behave

All three new gates switch on when nothing is connected to their inputs, which trips people up. With both inputs off, each of them is on:

GateBoth inputs offOne input onBoth inputs on
NANDononoff
NORonoffoff
XNORonoffon

A thread on r/LumberTycoon2 in the week after the update reported that the NOR gate "powers for a second" when wired. The top reply points out that NOR means "not OR", so an idle NOR gate is expected to be on. Until someone tests it properly, treat "broken NOR gate" reports with caution.

How the parts fit together

From the item descriptions, the intended path for a number display is:

  1. A binary value from your counter or adder.
  2. Binary to BCD Converter, which turns it into decimal digits (you can also build your own from Add 3 parts).
  3. 7 Segment Converter, which turns each digit into seven signals.
  4. Seven Segment Display, which shows the digit.

We have not built this yet. When we do, the wiring diagram and a save-slot-friendly layout will go on a tutorial page here, and this article will move to Verified.

What we still do not know

  • Which parts arrived in the first batch and which later, and any fixes made since launch. The wiki's history for these parts is thin.
  • Whether every part behaves exactly as its description says. Reports of broken parts during launch week have not been confirmed.
