Lumber Tycoon 2 update after The Hunt ended (28 Sep 2026, v2565): what was reverted

When it happened

Roblox's public API reports the game's last update as 2026-09-28 18:35 UTC, which is 11:35 AM Pacific. The Hunt: Roblox 20 closed at 10:00 AM Pacific the same day, so the update landed roughly an hour and a half later.

What the wiki says was changed

The Fandom wiki's "End of Event" section describes three things:

1. The easier route was rolled back. Every change made during the event to make the secret badge easier was reverted, unless it was fixing a glitch. Two things were kept: the terrain change on the mountainside and the red light at the entrance of the Lost Cave, which now only covers the entrance rather than the whole path to the Skeleton.
2. The Skeleton stopped talking. Its dialog was removed, and the ability to open Purple Bags was revoked for every save slot.
3. Purple Bags became openable again in v2565. The wiki does not say how permission works after this, and we have not tested it.

The wiki does not itemise which easier-route changes were rolled back. Its list of what was added during the event (the truss below the Lost Cave, the removal of the Dynamite-blocking rocks, the Taiga scaffold, the extra lighting and the badge-sharing rule from v2554) is on the secret badge page. Only the terrain change and the entrance light are confirmed as kept.

What players are saying

Posts on r/LumberTycoon2 in the two days after the update say that Geck and his bin are gone and that the Skeleton no longer speaks. We could not open Reddit directly, so this comes from search-result snippets and counts as a community report only.

Is it in the in-game Changelog?

We do not know yet. The game's Changelog is a Menu tab that the wiki says does not list every update. The wiki's own Changelog page has no entry after 12 January 2025, so we are keeping a running record on the changelog page.
