Quick answer
The short version
The Hunt: Roblox 20 was Roblox's platform-wide 20th-anniversary event. Twenty games represented the twenty years of the platform's history, and Lumber Tycoon 2 represented 2015. Each game had a normal badge and a secret badge, each with a reward item that you claimed in the event hub. According to the Fandom wiki, the update that came with it added the largest amount of permanent content since the Taiga Peak Update in 2018.
Badges and rewards
| Badge | How you earned it | Reward in the event hub | Awarded (30 Sep 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| You helped Geck! | Fill the counter on Geck's bin by throwing wood into it | Leather Adventure Backpack | 3,373,372 |
| You got glorbed! | Finish the Glorbaxe quest | Chest of Overflowing Loot | 279,123 |
Both badges were created on 3 Sep 2026 but only became visible when the event started. Award counts come from Roblox's API. To claim Lumber Tycoon 2's rewards in the hub you first needed the normal badges from the earlier years.
Timeline
| Date | What happened |
|---|---|
| 3 Sep | Both badges are created (visible in the API). |
| 9 Sep | Testers notice their access to the test place has been revoked, which fuels speculation about an official event. |
| 16 Sep | Lumber Tycoon 2's part in the event is confirmed; 17 new advanced logic parts go on sale. |
| 17 Sep | The event starts. Geck appears next to a repurposed Snowglow Bin outside Wood R Us (server version 2525). The Purple Bag exists but cannot be opened yet. |
| 25 Sep | The secret quest is added: the Skeleton, the Glorbs and the Glorb Cavern. The secret badge is first named "b" with a placeholder icon, then renamed. |
| About 26 Sep | Several changes make the quest easier (v2549, v2554). |
| 28 Sep, 10:00 AM PT | The event ends. |
| 28 Sep, 18:35 UTC | An update reverts the easier route and removes the Skeleton's dialog. Purple Bags open again in v2565. |
A bug worth knowing about
The Glorbaxe, or one of the three items used to spawn it, caused some players' bases to be wiped. Fandom says it was fixed a few hours after it was discovered. If it happened to you, see known issues from the Hunt.
Trivia
Defaultio recorded a completion time of minus 50 minutes 37 seconds for the secret badge, because they claimed the reward in the event hub before the event began.
