Lumber Tycoon 2 Hunt problems: stuck Glorb, Purple Bag won't open, base wiped, wrong server version

Known problems from The Hunt: Roblox 20 in Lumber Tycoon 2, what the wiki and players say about each, and what is still unconfirmed.

These are documented problems, not tested fixes. Where we have no confirmed fix we say so instead of guessing.

Quick answer

Four problems keep coming up: Glorbs that freeze in place after a reload, a Purple Bag that will not open, a base wipe linked to the Glorbaxe (fixed within hours) and steps that only work on newer servers. None has a confirmed player-side fix yet.

A Glorb froze and cannot be moved

What people report: a Glorb sits in the base like an anchored object, does not respond to dragging and cannot be glorbed, and can even float in the middle of a house.

What the wiki says: after you rejoin, some Glorbs can turn a unique purple colour and become impossible to move or interact with. It lists this as a known bug.

Fix: none confirmed. Do not spend the Glorb you need on an experiment; keep spares if you have several bags.

The Purple Bag will not open

What it means: an error sound and nothing happens means the game does not think you have permission on that save slot. During the event that permission came from the Skeleton in the Lost Cave.

What changed: at the end of the event the Skeleton's dialog was removed and bags could not be opened at all, until v2565 made them openable again. See the 28 Sep update.

Fix: join a server that is running v2565 or newer and try again. We have not confirmed whether the Skeleton is still involved.

A base was wiped

The Glorbaxe, or one of the three items used to spawn it, wiped some players' bases. The wiki says it was fixed a few hours after it was discovered. There was a report of it in the wiki's Discord.

If it happened to you: we know of no documented restore procedure. Ask in the LT2 Wiki Discord or on r/LumberTycoon2 and give the time it happened and the server version, if you know it.

It worked for someone else on a different server

Both the wiki and players talk about specific server versions (v2525 at the start of the event, later v2549, v2554, v2563 and v2565). One player got the cave door to open only after switching to a v2563 server and said they did not know whether v2560 or newer was required.

The wiki also notes that old servers may not have the latest update. If a step behaves differently from a guide, check that you are on a fresh server.
