Lumber Tycoon 2 secret badge (You got glorbed!): is it still obtainable?

Status of the Hunt: Roblox 20 secret badge and the Glorbaxe after the event ended on 28 Sep 2026: what was reverted, what still works, and the original route step by step.

Community reportedGame version v2565Updated Not yet confirmed in game by us

Badge numbers come from Roblox's public API (read 30 Sep 2026, 11:31 and 14:40 UTC). The route is compiled from the Fandom wiki and player reports; we have not re-run it in game since the 28 Sep update.

Quick answer

Barely. The badge is still enabled, but Roblox counted no new awards in the 24 hours to 14:40 UTC on 30 Sep (3 in the day before), and players report that Geck and his wood bin, the only source of Purple Bags, are gone. If you still own bags, the original route below is your best guide. We have not re-verified it in game.

What was changed at the end of the event

During the event the developers eased the secret quest several times. Fandom lists these changes, with the server versions they shipped in:

  • v2549: the mountainside terrain was changed so the cave and the Shrine of Sight are easier to reach.
  • v2554: the badge is awarded to everyone in the Den whom the item owner gave the "All" permission, not only to the player who picked up the axe.
  • Truss (a climbable frame) was added to the cliffs below the Lost Cave, so no Long Planking is needed.
  • The rocks that blocked the Lost Cave and the Shrine of Sight were removed, so no Dynamite is needed.
  • A bug where the correct Glorb did not always open the Shrine of Sight was fixed.
  • Dim red lighting was added from the Lost Cave entrance to the Skeleton, so no Worklight is needed.
  • The Scaffold was added back at the Taiga entrance, so no Dynamite is needed to reach the Den.

After the event, Fandom says everything that only made the quest easier was reverted. The exceptions are the mountainside terrain and the red light, which now only covers the cave entrance. The Skeleton's dialog was removed, and Purple Bags could not be opened until v2565 allowed it again. Full details are on the 28 Sep update page.

The original route

This is the quest as it worked during the event. Steps 1 and 2 depend on things that have since been removed, so read them as history. Steps 3 to 7 do not depend on Geck, but we have not checked them on a current server.

  1. Get the basics

You need an axe to cut trees, and ideally a vehicle with a truck bed, because the second half of the quest involves hauling three items across the map. Fandom's minimum shopping list came to $520:

    • Basic Hatchet from Wood R Us, $12 (a stronger axe is recommended)
    • Utility Vehicle from Wood R Us, $400, plus $8 each time you spawn it
    • Land, $100, to place the vehicle spawner on

You can finish without a vehicle, but it is much slower.

  2. Get a Purple Bag (Geck's bin)

During the event, wood thrown into a repurposed Snowglow Bin outside Wood R Us filled a counter on the bin. When it was full you received the "You helped Geck!" badge and a Purple Bag, and you could repeat this for more bags. Fandom recommends collecting several, because the Glorb you need is not guaranteed to appear in your first bag.

Checkpoint: you are holding one or more Purple Bags.
  3. Get permission to open the bag (the Skeleton)

The Lost Cave is a small hole in the cliffs to the left of the Taiga entrance, with truss running up the cliff. Follow the path north to the Skeleton at the end of the left branch. Choosing "I seek permission to unwrap the object" lets you open Purple Bags on that save slot. Without it, opening a bag only plays an error sound.

A Worklight from Wood R Us costs $80 if the cave is too dark. Resetting your character to leave the cave makes you drop the axes you are carrying.

Checkpoint: rainbow particles appear around your character after you speak to the Skeleton.
  4. Open the bag and find the right Glorb

A bag holds 2 to 5 Glorbs. Press E on a Glorb to "glorb" it: it shrinks and may change colour. Each Glorb follows one of 16 colour sequences. The one you want starts lavender, then dark purple, then orange. Fandom counts 17 interactions in total for this Glorb, ending on orange. Other guides quote different click counts, so go by the colours, not the count.

Do this inside a fenced area on your base, or the Glorbs roll away. Fandom notes that if you open enough bags without the right sequence, the game eventually guarantees it.

Checkpoint: you hold a Glorb that has just turned orange after its final interaction.
  5. Open the Shrine of Sight

Drive up the mountainside to the Rock Bridge Cave and find the entrance in its back wall. Throw the correct Glorb into the right-hand hole. The Glorb is destroyed and the door opens. On PC, vehicle headlights are toggled with L.

Inside is the pink Glorb Cavern with three pedestals holding the Fancy Lightbulb, the Boutique Bag of Sand and the Deluxe Can of Worms. The first player to touch them claims them; only that player, and anyone they have given the relevant permissions, can move them.

Checkpoint: you have all three items with you or on your vehicle.
  6. Find the Den

The Den is in the Taiga. Look for a small red eagle symbol on the wall above its entrance. Press E on the trapdoor under the snow and it opens for a few seconds, which is your window to throw the three items inside.

Checkpoint: the three items are inside the Den.
  7. Place the items and take the axe

Three NPCs sit at a makeshift table. Put each item on the plate in front of its NPC:

    ItemNPCPosition
    Deluxe Can of WormsGusmanakleft
    Boutique Bag of SandZolarKethmiddle
    Fancy LightbulbRukiryoright

It is easiest to unbox each item once it is on its plate. When all three are placed correctly, the Glorbaxe drops from the ceiling and the items are consumed. Picking the axe up awards the badge to you and to anyone in the Den whom you gave the "All" permission.

Checkpoint: the badge notification appears and the Glorbaxe is in your inventory.

What we have not verified

  • Whether the whole route can still be finished from a fresh save on a v2565 or newer server.
  • Whether Purple Bags open without speaking to the Skeleton after v2565, and where new bags could come from.
  • Whether the badge is still shared with everyone in the Den who has the "All" permission.

If you have tried it since 28 Sep, tell us what happened and on which server version. We will update this page and change its label to Verified once we have confirmed it ourselves.

Common questions

How many players have the badge? 279,123 as of 30 Sep 2026, about 8% of the 3,373,372 who earned "You helped Geck!".

Is Geck still in the game? Players say no. Geck was added on 17 Sep 2026 and the wiki describes him as an event character.

What does the axe do? See the Glorbaxe page.
